HOW TO SET UP AN IPADIO ACCOUNT, RECORD AND EMBED INTO YOUR BLOGGER

How to create an iPadio account

Instructions:

1)   Go to http://ipadio.com/

2)   Look in the top right hand corner of the screen and click the red heart that says ‟sign me up.”

3)   Fill in all of the correct information. (Make a note of your user id and Password!)

4)   Click register

5)   Be sure to put the ipadio phone number in your contacts. 

First Name: ipadio

Last name: (4 digit pin number)

To start broadcasting:

1)     Call the phone number and listen for the message

2)     Type in the pin when requested

3)     Record your message when told to do so

4)     After you are done broadcasting your message hit the pound (#) button to save your message

5)     Go back into your ipadio account.  You may need to logout and log back in.

You can upload your broadcast to Blogger:

1)     Go to ipadio, find the desired audiocast and click the embed icon

2)     Copy the embed code (Be sure to get all of it)

3)     Go back to your blogger dashboard.  Click “new post”.

4)     Paste in the correct tool box for audio on Blogger.  Be sure to choose “html” when pasting.

5)     Click “Publish” and view your blog. Be sure to “view” your blog before assuming that it worked correctly.  Sometimes it takes twice.  When you view your blog, you should see that ipadio box, and be able to play your recording.  If you see a long string of code, that means it didn’t work.
